you could go all day comparing specs to differnt models. Hitec makes some great servos, I have heard great thing about Savox. I plan on getting a savox to try out and keep as a back up.

We were talking about that particular servo, not comparing companies. FWIW, I'd put money on Savox all day long for longevity after owning both unlike yourself.
If I were you I would keep that hitec as a back up. Better yet sell it off, you wont need a back up for Savox
