After having separate classes last year at LCRC, we can say the lap times are almost the same between nitro and electric. So, it's not really an advantage and your 3 pit stops in a nitro buggy is going to be the same amount of time it takes the e-scale guys for one stop to change a battery. In addition, it's off-road, slower is actually faster and they can't be doing 90mph while in the in air and entering corners.
