I think the aluminum is just for the bling factor. I have thought of getting the bulkheads but put the money in the aluminum shock kit, narrow graphite lipo chassis, graphite upper deck and aluminum steering. Just wish there were more setups out there running 17.5 carpet so it wouldn't take me a whole season to set it up hehe.
