I just ran out of my Mugen shock oils and am looking to replace them with the VP oils. I went to the VP site for a reference in CST ratings for these oils and then compared this to the CST ratings for Mugen oils.
The VP site says that 40 wt Losi oil is comparable to the VP 550 oil. Then when you go to:

it says that Losi 40wt oil is actually 500 CST and that Mugen 450 oil is actually 493 CST. So this would give VP 550 an actual CST rating closer to 500.
So if I need to replace my Mugen 450 and 500 oil do I need VP 550 and 600 oil?
