I'd thought about rippng the module out of a gt2 or gt3b to upgrade an aged radio but couldn't find any way of having a bind button as i dont think its part of the module on those radios i think its part of the main pcb.
Hi that's not true just put the diods in line out of the radios on off switch so when you turn it on diods are working and when you turn the switch off all power gets disconnected from the power source all together like how it normally does. You can also use a 9.9V Life pack and do nothing at all and it will be lighter and last longer than the AA batteries .
