My guess is that if you’re not having catastrophic issues with the IGT1 standard spur gearing and transmission with your engine you might be better off with it over a buggy diff.

Your ability to start off in first gear, no matter how short shifted it is, would be better than starting in second gear only.

What track do you race on?
