Screw extractors are great, but make sure you read how to use it. When I read the instuctions it sounded wrong but when ya follow the instructions (not something us guys are very good at!!) it should do the job nicely.
My mate who is an engineer was really impressed at how well they work (he'd never used one as he uses a torque wrench on just about everything, lol).
