For gearing purposes, I like my spurs to be as large as possible; so, my gearing ratio increments are are small as possible for fine tuning the gearing. Therefore, all of my ramped setups have used a 100T spur. For non-ramped, I use 88T.
A Kimbrough 88T is the smallest spur gear you can use their dust covers with. Great for outdoor racing.
