I got a Slayer Pro 4x4 3.3 nitro and it's cold even in Georgia, so I am curious if running nitro in cold(40f) will it harm the engine? I tested temp yesterday after a couple runs it was about 175f is this to cool or O.K.. It was running pretty good a good trail of smoke. Anyway I thank anyone who will give me a little info/help!
I take it you bought this brand new. if so lean it out alittle you need to get the temp up to 200-220 id say to start breaking the motor in your actually doing more damage to a new motor at that temp as its not letting the parts expand for corect fitment. could also wrap the head with a 1/10 scale tire foam or tape to try and trap some heat in. id try wrapping the head first.
