Good motor
We decided to put a CC short course sidewinder combo in the Cup Racer. It has a 4-pole rotor for more torque and is rated at 3800kv(on sale for $99). Works nice with stock pinion. No overheating, but it was only 50 deg out. Extra torque is just what a Cup Racer needs. Right now running on nimh batteries until I find a good lipo that fits.
