SS Gridirons are for indoor clay when track temp is 60. I wouldn't use them on a tracks that's outdoors, hardpacked, dusty, and hot. They wouldn't last long.
And in your wet sticky conditions anything should work. So I wouldn't waste the grids on that if I have Ibeams on hand.
