I have seen servos with speeds from .06 to .30... What gives???
For instance the Spectrum S6030 has 278 oz-in of torque at .15 sec for ~$85 but the S6040 has 167 oz-in at .08 sec for ~$79
Typically, you want higher torque for steering applications and higher speed for throttle applications. There is a torque/speed tradeoff, but more torque is necessary to turn the wheels and more speed is necessary to have a smooth throttle input.
