FWIW, I ran one of the new Castle Sidewinder SCT 3800 combos in mine today on 2S, 14T pinion. No heat issues at all, even without the included motor fan. I want to run it long / hard some more and temp it to be sure, but it appears light enough that this motor will be OK (unlike all the Castle 540 cans I have burned on my SCRT).
