To switch over to 64 pitch, you need to change out both the pinion and spur gears at a cost of $10-12. While you are at it, consider using an aluminum pinion and the Losi 128 tooth Kevlar spur gear. For on-road racing, I have a selection of pinions sized from 28-33 teeth (@ $5-6 each) to use with Monster Pro motors.
