They should have the RC8B with all HARD Anodized 7075T6 alum. steering blocks and rear suspension blocks,Graphite Parts,HD alum. Suspension arm holders, front and rear towers with Optional Graphite towers,Stronger more wear resistant arms, with more composite material,Higher Quality Alum Parts with Higher Quality Plastic/ composite parts, More quality like (XRAY/Serpent/Durango/and Kyosho) Then make it rtr with plain Jane silver 6061 alum parts, or even PLastic suspension holders,etc, non coated shock shafts, non threaded big bores(alum, no plastic), Plastic front upper chassis stiffener.
Make a C-Hub COnversion for it, something along the lines of Losi,serpent or even there B44, angled steering, like there 1/10 scale 2wd buggies, Wing directly OVER the rear tires, Like orig rc10 or current rc10 buggies.
All this is my brother's opinion.
To answer your question. I doubt they will upgrade the RTR RC8 to the RTR RC8B
