yup, maxlifes are a little more but last twice as long with less maintenance and are right in between aluminum and carbon in hitting power. i run a soft clutch in mine and maxlifes, usually .9,1.0,1.1 for a really smooth power on. never lacked in buggy or truggy as far as punch.
