i was testing the ride super softs on the rear and liked the traction they provided on carpet, they would hop a bit on fast corners but very controllable and manageable, still testing to find a good front tire to give the car optimal balance. One thing i noticed about the ride tires is they dont seem to pick up carpet debris, and therefore stay pretty consistent over long runs.
Try the Shimizu "3" compound up front... I've used it with RIDE soft in the rear, also HPI Soft in the rear and Shimizu soft in the rear... Well balanced with all three... it does lean a little towards the pushy side, which I like for my style of driving...
