I installed my front cup. I did not notice what AMorgan mentioned. I did notice that the bearing had a tight tolerance on the input shaft. I'll problably destroy the bearing if I had to remove it.
I believe this helped with eliminating any slop.
To install the input cup, I got the bearing on barely past the 'teeth' and I inserted the bearing into the bearing holder and tightend the screw until both were fully seated. Then back'd the screw off a 1/8 of a turn.
