Psycho, let me add a little to this and I will be a little more specific. There are subtle differences in carpet that make a difference as well as the traction compounds that get used. I suggest using Paragon Ground Effects unless there is a restriction from the track operator. Using other compounds will require more discussion and there will be a lot of point/counterpoint on this thread in that discussion. But all will be close enough to get you started. Next, the tire compounds will react differently on the carpet depending on the type carpet they have at your track. Sometime the white/grey family will be better rear tires and sometimes the pink/purple family will be better. The pink/purple family of front tires usually always work. So we need to know more about your carpet and traction compound to really help. Otherwise, you will have to test all of that yourself.
