the night before a race. take out wheel bearings and diff bearings and even clutch bearings.(must be rubber sealed) throw them in the oven for 20mins at 200F.

then cool them via letting them sit out.
your bearings will last 3 times longer

try it. i do it. have lasted 3 months with full time use(mud + water). and still smooth as. never had to pack them or anything. and i use xray bearings.
