I found the R9R worked well on carpet if you're looking for extra steering. The problem is obviously too much front down force at higher speeds, but it was great for 17.5. Worked best with the body mounted as far back as possible and the wing pushed back as well. IMO
Still....the best overall body is the LTC-R, as Larry said.
