From the testing result, they make totally different feeling of driving characteristic as they have different plunge point in the outdrives.

It should feel like more consistent feeling just like using the longer camber links. I personally think they provide some more forgiveness on the car too. I recommend you to try those your self and pick the best one for the situation.

Also, i personally think the composit diff outdrives work better on carpet than the aluminum one. Feels like more consistent traction with them.
