I do grease all my seal with associated green slime, and my diff screws are not stripped. If it was the screws being stripped then the fluid would be leaking from between the ring gear and not there the where the diff bearing are located.
Only fill your diff cups up till the oil just barely reaches the top of the spider gears. If you have any oil seep out from the screw holes or gasket when you cap the diff with the ring gear then you have filled it too much.
