I could be wrong here, but the 3000KV motor is the spec motor for Mini racing in Australia. They are saying it is the equivalent of a good Blackcan or Sport tuned.

At least that is the system I purchased to try out. Some of them post on this thread from time to time, so they should be able to enlighten us.
