on the setup sheets, never look at the gear ratios, except if you've been to the track, then you know what the size is, and if it is the same as your home track. For gearing, i set my gearing up for the tight part of the track, so on the straight, i top out around 1/2 to 3/4 the wway down the straight. It all depends on your motor though.
