I just raced mine for the first time yesterday at SoCal-RC.com's on road race. I use the 60mm HPI S compound slicks and I had a hard time hooking up. I came in third. The top two guys were running 54mm tires and they were HOOKED UP. The winner of the Mini class is a good friend of mine and we have exactly the same shock setup (wt, spring) and those tires make all the difference in the world. He's also running the 210mm as opposed to my 225mm wheelbase. I guess that's the direction I'll be heading in soon!
