Little report because I know most of you guys are always interested about engine performance: Comparing the Novarossi S21 P3 and Team Orion CRF21 -
I ran Orion with 16% nitro & Kyosho "rear exhaust" IGW-007 pipe and Nova with 25% and their pipe - Orion was notably more powerful and ran better & more smoothly whereas with the P3 I had constantly the feeling that I have to "pull" the trigger to get the relatively big car moving. Evidence is also, that I had to adjust the shift point of the tranny by opening 1/2 turn to make it shift earlier i.e. on lower rpm with the P3.
This is really no big surprise since the Orion "race" model is roughly double the price of the Novarossi "sport" engine. Nova is not bad, but leaves some room for more power - or the wish for it.. but it surely looks nice
