Isn't it funny how your forced to "BUY" a second kit just for parts. I did the same thing too! Can you imagine buying a brand new car and crashing it the next day and told by the body shop "I'm sorry, CARMFGR has not yet released any spare parts. You'll have to buy a second car if you really want to get your car going, or you can wait a month until the spare parts come out so we can fix it."
Instead of using the second kit as a spare parts kit, I built it and used it as a backup car or second class car.
ON a side note. Last weekend, Thad from HPI was at SOCAL running the Pro4. The car looked real good. He helped me a bit with my setup. He almost took TQ over Tossolini, but missed it by about a second or two.
