engine sealant, who uses it?
I just bought a used (but fairly new) Nova N21BF engine and I took it today for my first race and a guy told me that he highly recommended taking the motor apart, and using some kind of sealant around the back plate and carb. Is this necessary? If so, how exactly do I do it and what to use? He said he uses something from walmart, was pretty much the same as lucky 7???
Should I do this or is it not really required? He said Nova engines are notorious for air leaks.
Also, if I do end up doing this, and having to dis assemble the engine, will I have to re-tune?
