The problem is that many of them are running brushless and 15/17 turns motor, so the speed on the straight is rather insane(We run on a big high bite asphalt track). I myself had been running a 17 double but it just is not enough against the brushless motors.

So, my question is, what is the difference in handling between a 4-cell and a 6-cell car. Would a modified 4-cell stands against a brushless 6-cell? And would having an extra battery pack for the servo makes a difference on a 4-cell car?

Thanks for the info guys.
If you go with the Assc 12 L3 you have the option to run 4 or 6 cells. The L3 is a exclent all around 1/12 scale kit. And if your going to use a brusless system you will have the room.
I use the Rug Rat conversion for the L3 this is a 4cell coversion so
I have the option to go ether way I say go with the L3.
