Na bro. That's not how it works. Truggy tank has 25 more cc's. Truggies almost always get better fuel mileage because of that. Even with the heavier load and bigger tires. Obviously you can get away with pulling on the throttle more with a truggy, so if you're doing that, the above may not be the case. If you drive the truggy smoothly like a buggy, the above will be true.

I have a stock D8T only an aluminum servo arm and I just recently made it past 10 minutes in a 20 minute main with one pit. I was running a GO5port turbo 8mm stock venturi and a 2047 GO pipe and 30% fuel..
