Can you notch out the steel battery holder with a dremel cutting disk to allow the needed clearance for the steering post / rack... etc ?

I have an Exotek 416XL, I noticed this problem too...but in the end I just move the batts to the rear position (same as 416X). Maybe if I use the optional carbon batt holder then I can use the forward position without any issue. Also, you can't use the most inner batt position coz the same problem will occur with the front 'L' shape weight touching the steering post.
