the TC did get the lower internal ratio (18t pulleys) - but none of the 'earlier' cyclones came stock with 18t pulleys, they all have 16t ones

as far as a gearing issue - if you are running an 'advanced timing/turbo/boost' like speedo, you really don't need a super low FDR...A gearing start-point might be something to seriously ask in the MMM thread - in there you get guys running that speedo in everything, and you'd probably get a few more experts on the speedo as well

here, you get some MMM knowledge - but lots of cyclone knowledge

here's a 'for instance' in my cyclone (w/18t pulleys), i would gear the car for a 4.0-ish FDR with my tekin speedo (yes, i know its NOT a MMM), when tekin released v203 with all those extra timing features, i ended up gearing my car high (FDR around 5.5-6) and still had the speedo...so that might be something to consider when i said you may not need to get for a crazy-low FDR
