Default Engine longevity... Buggy vs Truggy

I wanted to see if anyone using two of the same mills in there buggy and truggy noticed a difference in the lifespan of the engines. I freshened up a grp for my buggy that i ran in truggy last year. I only got to the 5 gallon mark before the crank pin was wore out. After replacing the crank and rod, im hoping it goes another 5-6 gallons. Anyone with similar experiences?
