Smaller engines
Ya know I tried something different. I took the G3.0 (.18) outta my fireStorm and replaced it with a Hobao Hyper .12 engine. This engine speeds the truggy along just as fast as the .18. Wierd? I have the same gearing as before and the .12 is not quite leaned out yet (still running it in). I guess you don't need to use big block engines to have performance. I have obviously doubled my run time as well. The way the engine performs, I might not lean it out any more. I just can't believe the .12 is giving similar performance as the .18. The only discernible change is the holeshot, it isn't quite as quick but for bashing who cares.
