I got 2 Tamiya TT-01D's. They are still mostly stock. The first one I turned into a kind of Rally car by replacing the shocks with a pair out of I am not even sure what. They came in a box of random parts I bought of ebay. They are longer aluminum shocks but to get extra travel I had to notch the bottom of the chassis (A arms bottom out on chassis to prevent further suspension expansion). It sits about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch higher than stock with this modification. Planning on going brushless with this one.
The second I am in the middle of converting to a 14.7 volt drill motor. I had an old drill lying around and I figure each ESC feeds like 7 volts to a single motor so If I mount 2 batteries and 2 ESC's and run them to a single 14 volt motor it should be pretty sick.
Anyone try anything like this on there's?
