i did some google searches and found some thermal stickers. they come in various sizes and temps. if i can find them small enough i might try sticking a couple on my engine in different places and see how it works out. i figure if they read read within 20* they might actually be of some use, for quick checks during pit stops or during the count down before the beginning of the race.
