Track Star's blueprinting or "race prepping" an Alpha Plus or any engine for that matter is about a 2 hour process that includes;

Pre disassembly pressure test

Full tear down and visual inspection and cleaning of all parts including carburetor.

Removal of any casting flaws in engine case.

Resetting of main and front bearing alignment.

Physical inspection of all bearing, crank, rod and piston clearances.

Physical inspection of carburetor slide and slide bore.

Visual inspection of all o-rings, slide bellows, metering needles and needle housings.

Reassembly of carburetor paying close attention to fuel circuit flow and finishing with sealant around fuel nipple and slide bellows.

Reassembly of engine; using glow plug friendly lube, shimming the deck height for nitro percentage/atmosphere being used also using sealant.

Post assembly pressure test.
