From an engineers point of view and this is only my opinion no one else's it's just another foam insert to be sold that's it .You can make the normal poly foam work the same way by doubling the bead to cover the whole tyre wall area so you can min side wall flex .
tyre lasting longer? i dont think so as a hard foam would kill a tyre quicker compared to a soft foam. Type of Track surface is what kills your tyre's ,temp and materials used a tyre that doesnt wear also doesnt work . etc they are the factors that detemine tyre life .most say my tyres are still new but have a close look at the tips of the tyres once your finished running and you will see there are no tips left which mean's your tyres are gone.
