I run the Ride brand tyres on my F103. They give good grip on the surface that I run on and don't appear to be wearing that much.
I also run Pit Shimizu slicks on my F104. I love these tyres. They (Pit Shimizu) have also just released a set of slicks for the F103 size wheels. Grip with these tyres is amazing. However, I don't think they'll last as long as the Ride tyres.
Yes, there is quite a size difference between the F103 and F104 tyres and wheels. The fronts moreso than the backs.
