Some airplane engines run on diesel , the heads have a compression relief/increaser these motors have alot of torque and great run times/ super cheap fuel alot of times a blend of fuels.Large props lower rpms. Nitro brings it own oxygen nitro motor is designed to run nitro/meth mix I think modern motors are timed too high to run well. Nitro makes power plain and simple.But there are 200mph tether cars and race planes that use no nitro only alcohol oil mix. If cost or availability of fuel is an issue where you are at battery power is your best bet.
Here is a place to get an axial 28 but the special fuel is 32 a gal + ship regular diesel won't cut it. Run times should double.
