Sure.
Black can is a 23 turn modified motor with mild timing. Turns around 15,600 at 5 volts out of the box, has fairly soft brushes and runs pretty hot with a 20 tooth pinion gear.

Red Dot silver can is a 27 turn motor using a Tamiya #53689 core, fully TCS legal. Turns around 16-17,500 RPM at five volts, has somewhat harder (and longer lasting) brushes and will come off the track at a perfect 170 degrees with a 20 tooth pinion.

Performance on most tracks is (roughly) equal, but the Red Dots tend to last longer. Our testing shows very close lap times between the two using the same driver, same car & same battery.
