By increasing the diameter of the crank, it allowed the ability to advance the crank intake timing without sacraficing the stength of the shaft. The new 14mm crank with the same factory depth cut gave the crank a 10 degree advancement in induction timing as well so the engine does run better with the new crank. My race ported version runs side by side with my race ported P5 and Plus21-4 and I have those available for $175 for a limited time offer. I also still have the stock ones available for $135.
