Today a Novarossi stock has a flathead piston and tomorrow they will use a rounded piston. I can tell you I have seen a JP Eagle R09 team engine and it had a flathead piston....
Do not make rules about the engine if you can not control it or even inspect it. Let it control itself, the fasterst engines will make a 2wd car without suspension uncontrolable....
