Tamiya could see this coming, and the "X" has the motor further over in the car I believe. Schumacher also with the Mi4, have given the option.
The T2 009 can flip the belts OK but I haven't had that as an option as the centre brass weights cannot be used at the same time as flipped drivetrain, thankfully I can get rid of those now.
The new T3 has the motor slightly closer to the centreline so would presuably be even easier to sort.
