Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

I'm surprised you guys are having difficulty with the Special battery hold down. it covers a larger area of the cells than any other I have seen, and nobody out here has had any problems with it, unlike the old MR4 TC style battery hold down arrangement.

Quite right, if you cover the cells with shrink wrap, like I do, they are a tight fit, but that's a good thing, and I'm certainly not complaining at that.

Had a strange day's racing yesterday. Finished 4th in the A in race 1 with a reasonable performance. Son Josh won with his TC3. He was 3 seconds off 23 laps - I was 3 seconds off 21....and still 4th.

In the second final, I decided to changer tyres, having had a bit too much oversteer in the first race, but didn't bother weighing the car after the change to softer - and lighter inserts. Result - the car was underweight at post race scrutineering and I was disqualified. Shame!

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
