7955tg's are lipo safe. per hitec rep. they will warranty it. if it ever goes bad by using straight 2s lipo.
that's why it's such a sweet deal. 300+ oz of torque in both 6v and 7.2v. fast enough for throttle and steering., you can get it under 100 bucks at most places.
it's a win win for that servo. The new hitec HV servo's cost vs performance is not as good IMO. unless you absolutely need that kind of speed or torque.
