I had the same issue but I'm using a spektrum radio (dx3r). Changed battery, reciever, switch and still had the problem. Apparently, model 1 was the issue. Soon as I bound the reciever to another model on the radio the problem was fixed. I know ur running only the spektrum module and not their radio, but give that a try if u've already gone through everything else.
