dont get me wrong just to be on the safe side i DO use the rubber grommets now, but i owned both the losi 1.0 buggy (for about 8 months) and the losi 2.0 buggy (for about 6 months) and NEVER once used the grommets on either the throttle or steering servo and i never lost a single servo. i was and still am running a JR 9100t for steering and a 8800s for throttle. till this day still no issues. but i do use them now on my mugen mbx6 just as a precaution
