Hmm, I disagree, I have never had an issue running the outer dry, inner oiled, grease on the ends? I have tried the two ways, and found oiling the outer, bogs the engine down in a long main?

I think the inner is to filter out the fine particals, the outer handles the larger ones, if it is super dusty, add a pre filter (Panyhose) The purpose of the outerwears, is that in a long race, it clogs up before the pre filter (Outer) and as needed you can remove it and get another hundred miles lettin the engine breath,My Buggy does Just fine runnin an oiled inned and a dry outer, if the outer gets fuelie or clogged, I just put on a new one, If you have chased your tune on race day, don't change your AF unless you have to, Your tune Will Change, Clutch Bearings, No problem, ( I change them when I dont like Em No More...Pain in Monkey Arse..) Normally if put 45-60 minutes on the bearings, I change em, other wise, I just check em.
